LIVERPOOL – Grande lutto per i tifosi del Liverpool. All’età di 78 anni si è spento GerryMarsden, cantante dei Gerry & The Pacemakers. L’artista era entrato nei cuori dei tifosi Reds grazie alla sua versione di “You’ll Never Walk Alone“, canzone che è poi diventata inno del club. A renderlo noto è la Bbc che ha citato Pete Price, noto radio presentatore della città sul Merseyside. Price ha chiarito che il cantanto è morto dopo una breve malattia causata da un’infezione al cuore.
