The new B-segment crossover Kia could be named Stonic, according to a recently filed trademark application. It was snapped testing in northern Sweden in the snow, the rear three-quarter windows and the shape of the C-pillars are very similar to those of the 2017 Rio supermini.
Stonic also happens to pack the 17-inch alloy wheel used by Kia for the all-new Rio. It will be front-wheel-drive for sure but might also be AWD capability, as some of its rivals. About engines should be 1.0-litre T-GDi 120 HP and a 1.4-litre CRDi, this last capable of 3.5 l per 100 km combined.
